A project exploring experiences of the Shrewsbury Business Park and surrounding edgelands

Time to take stock with post-its and felt-tips
More writings of recent months just received from the extraordinarily prolific Colin Blundell and Hub Editions - it's almost 15 years since we first collaborated. This one made me smile:
Met up with Julie's mum for first time in nearly 18 months and my sister-in-law pointed out this April edition of the RHS magazine. To my amazement😀, it features the #mossesandmarshes project, despite no direct contact with me. The PR machine must be functioning. But I was even more pleased to see this great article on going peat-free...the RHS is 98% peatfree and has taken a lead on banning sales of peat-based compost. This is despite delays in Government peat policy and feeble measures by other retailers to stop using peat
A family drawing session exploring drawing with eyes closed the rhythms and textures of sounds recorded from our walk round the river loop for @kimbalbumstead and his excellent participatory Sonic Landscapes show at the @basementartsproject. Something I've tried before with mixed success. Have a look at the show and take part yourself.
Stretching canvases to start the week, and there is no day that cannot be improved by The Beat... "what a joy, what a joyful sound" #standdownmargaret #riprankingroger #artiststudio #todayslistening
@cinderloo1821 and @random_segment teamed up this week for Andy's socially distanced light and sound show performed live to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Tom Palin's hanging at the Dana Prison. It builds on fantastic research into the descendants of the 11 men killed or charged following the Cinderloo Uprising. Visit the cinderloo.com website to find out how to take part in the public event we are planning with Andy McKeown for Autumn in Telford - we need your support. Also you can see a video of this week's event and family history research
